About the role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operator to join our team in Smeaton Grange.

The position is full-time with working hours from 6:00am - 2:00pm.

As a Warehouse Operator you will support the operations team, primarily focusing on warehousing activities, such as assembly of terminals, loading and unloading trucks, pick and pack of special orders and container unpacking.

As directed you will also provide support to manufacturing operations by performing various metal fabrication tasks.

Key responsibilities include:

Warehouse Operations

• Assembly of metal components into kits

• Pick and pack special orders for wire rope, terminals and crash cushions

• Forklift unloading of containers

• Provide support as required for loading and unloading of trucks

• Material handling by counterbalance forklift as required with LF forklift licence

Manufacturing Operations

• Perform general metal fabrication tasks such as drilling, grinding and cutting as required

• Provide support to roll forming, press and curving operations as required

Requirements

• 1 + years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and technical skills

• Knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance principles

• Forklift licence required

• A great attitude towards safety and quality

• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes

• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks
